I Drive For Sisu with Andre
Andre Powell is one of our more recent owner operators with a military background who parallels driving for Sisu as a deployment where he is running nonstop for 6 months at a time. Andre has seen a lot of companies come and go as far as hauling sand so he did his due diligence when deciding on what company he wanted to work for and ultimately chose Sisu Energy.
Sisu peaked his interest and he is grateful with his choice. Andre got his CDL back in 2016 and has been in the oil field industry for over 10 years operating under several different hats. As far as hours go, Andre states, “You run your own truck, so you set the hours that you want to run.”
One of the areas Andre is appreciative for is the dispatch team. He says, “Sisu has a really good team supporting drivers focused on what the drivers need and how to put more money in the drivers pockets.” He thinks the Dispatch team is great and takes the time to listen to the driver’s concerns when it comes to difficult routes and will work with the driver to figure out the best plan of action.
Also, Safety and Compliance are always a phone call away and it never feels like an inconvenience to reach out to them which is huge for owner operators. Working for Sisu Energy also comes with another perk, the tracker. The tracker is helpful in seeing where you are at the beginning of the month and where you need to be by the end of the month and the growth that occurs over that time. It also shows where you rank within the company to add some friendly competition to the job. Most people like to set a goal and reach for it and Sisu makes that option real. The support system within Sisu is going to give any driver all the success they need. For Andre, to join the pack means to join the family. Furthermore, he states, “Our pack is tight and we are able to look out for each other. There is a lot of growth potential within this company and a lot of flexibility for the owner operator.”
